Need For A Healthy Living!

What is the one word that comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘Healthy’? maybe Dieting? or Exercise? or perhaps fruits and veggies? I knew everyone is going to have different answers. So, I decided to see what people are doing to keep their bodies ‘Healthy’. My passion project is ‘Need For A Healthy Living’.

Last year I conducted a survey related to this project. It has one aim: to educate people about the importance of exercise and a well-balanced diet.
A ‘Healthy way of Living’ has both short and long-term health benefits. Ex: dieting can help you reduce your weight/ stay fit for the short term but eating healthy food can keep you fit lifelong.
My topic is about making people aware of the necessity of eating a well-balanced diet and exercising regularly to maintain your heart, lungs, and muscles in fantastic health.


While doing this survey I realised that most people are aware of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, still, they struggle with health issues. Nearly half of those who responded to my survey had at least one family member who is diagnosed with a health issue, like hypertension, diabetes or obesity. After that, they began to try more healthy eating and exercising. Let us see some ways to keep our bodies ‘Healthy’!

Tips

  1. Eat a healthy Diet

2. Reduce Intake of harmful fats

3. Hit the gym/ at least brisk walk

4. Don’t skip meals

5. Have an early Dinner

6. Take a varied and balanced diet

7. Drink Water

8. Enough Sleep

9. Make meals with minimally processed food

10. Avoid sugary or salty foods.

Let this year’s resolution be ‘ being Healthy and fit’
