Friendship:<\/span><\/em> The emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends. This is the dictionary meaning of friendship, But what is friendship? Is it only emotions, only having a person who behaves like a friend? No, Friendship is a bond of trust, support, understanding, amity, camaraderie, harmony and unity.  A true friend does not \u201cbackstab\/betray\u201d you.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Brutus Did!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In the play, <\/em><\/span>The Life and<\/em> Death of Julius Caesar<\/em><\/span> we see that Brutus betrays Julius. He does this by stabbing him with a knife and saying he did it for the greater good of Rome. Now, Brutus doesn\u2019t seem like a good friend does he. He<\/span> allowed himself to get influenced by Cassius\u2019 thoughts and ideas. He didn\u2019t realize that by killing Julius, Rome lost a great ruler.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Mark Antony Did! <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We also see that Mark Antony a good friend of Julius, proves that Julius caesar was no tyrant but worthy of the crown. He says<\/em><\/span> \u201c <\/span>I have come to bury Caesar, not to praise him. The evil that men do lives on after them. Their good deeds lie buried with their bodies. And so it is with Caesar. Was he a good man? Brutus says he had become ambitious ruthless – and he has been killed for this sin. And Brutus is an honourable man. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet Caesar did reject the crown-thrice! Does that sound like ambition? But Brutus is an honourable man, so it must be so. When the poor cried, Caesar wept for them. Ambition should be made of sterner stuff. Yet, it must be true that Caesar was ambitious, that he was a tyrant, for who else but Brutus has told us so- and Brutus is an honourable man.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>He also says<\/span> <\/span><\/em>\u201c Peace, friends! Noble Brutus tells us that justice has been done. It may be so. But listen first, before you decide. (He reads from a scroll of paper) In this will, Caesar leaves all his palaces and gardens to the people of Rome.<\/em> And five silver pieces for every citizen. Are these the words of a tyrant? Are these the actions of a tyrant?\u201d<\/em><\/span> Mark Antony, no matter what showed his friendship. He supported and proved to the Romans that Julius Ceasar was no Trayant but could have been a good KING!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
