That Evening<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPearl\u2026 Are you certain you’re alright?\u201d Natasha said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Yes, please let us get out of here!” replied Pearl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pearl’s eyes were still filled with tears as they went outside. Being able to live up to people’s expectations wasn’t simple, especially when your life is already chaotic. Amanda, Pearl’s childhood friend, had just bullied her. Who would have guessed that there could be someone with such a backstabbing nature?<\/p>\n\n\n\n When she got home, she went to her room and started crying. Despite her best efforts, she was never able to surpass either her previous self or the others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her grades weren\u2019t improving, neither was her art or singing and she wasn\u2019t doing any good in her social life either. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Next Morning<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Getting up, Pearl pulled herself together and put on a smile. Deciding on forgetting the entire incident, she freshened up and went down to have breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMornin\u2019 Mum!, mornin\u2019 Dad!\u201d Said Pearl<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGood Morning darling!\u201d Replied her parents<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat Happened yesterday honey? Were you bullied? And why didn\u2019t you come for dinner yesterday? You locked the door and didn’t even open it!\u201d Asked her mum, Mrs Woods<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNothing mum\u2026 Just had a lot of things on my mind. Don\u2019t worry\u201d Pearl stated<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s not what Natasha said\u2026\u201d Commented Mr Woods<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNatasha called you?\u201d Asked Pearl<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo, she came here yesterday night\u2026 she looked worried.\u201d said Mrs Woods<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIgnore her\u2026 It was nothing. I am going to school\u2026 bye!\u201d Said pearl<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat about breakfast?\u201d asked Mrs Woods <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI and Natasha are meeting at a cafe, I\u2019ll have something there! \u201d Said, Pearl<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saying this Pearl rushed out of there, She didn’t want to answer any other questions. Reaching the Cafe, Pearl glared at her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Why are you glaring at me Pearl?” asked Natasha<\/p>\n\n\n\n ” What did you tell my parents?
