Here is where my story starts…
September 2014,
I moved from Delhi to Hyderabad. A new city, a new school, and a completely unfamiliar environment. Starting over wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to adapt, grow, and find comfort in change.
April 2024
After spending nearly ten years in the same school, I stepped out of my comfort zone. I left behind familiar classrooms, lifelong friends, and routines to pursue one dream—to become a doctor. It was one of the first major decisions my parents made, that shaped who I was becoming.
December 2024
Life had become predictable. I wanted to create something beyond academics—something that would make a difference.
That’s when the idea of Youthika Connect was born.
What started as a simple thought soon became a mission: to bring companionship, dignity, and joy to senior citizens through meaningful student-led initiatives.
January 2025
By the end of the month, a small team of 10–12 passionate students had come together. We divided responsibilities, built our first departments, and I took on the role of Founder. It wasn’t just the beginning of an organisation; it was the beginning of my journey as a leader.
August 2026
Today, Youthika Connect is powered by a team of 38 incredible members. Together, we’ve organised projects, built partnerships, and created experiences that remind us why human connection matters.
Watching this community grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey, and we’re only getting started.
